5-Axis Dry Dental Milling Machine
An enclosed five-axis dry milling system for dental CAD/CAM production planning. Review its tool magazine, disc and block fixtures, chamber features and technical requirements before selecting a laboratory configuration.
- Machining: five-axis simultaneous dry machining stated in supplied specifications.
- Tooling: eleven-position magazine and automatic calibration described.
- Material planning: zirconia, wax, PMMA, PEEK and composite resin listed in the parameter sheet.
- Chamber: LED illumination and smart progress light bar described.
Five-axis dry machining and tooling
The supplied parameter sheet describes simultaneous five-axis dry machining. The enclosure images show a spindle, material holder and numbered tool magazine. The product material also describes automatic calibration and an eleven-tool magazine. Ask which tool positions, tool shanks, calibration routines and replacement parts are supported by the quoted configuration.
The artwork calls the unit all-electric with an airless spindle. Confirm the complete machine utility schedule, including whether any cleaning or accessory function needs compressed air. A spindle description alone does not define all site requirements.
Match materials to fixtures and CAM strategies
The parameter sheet lists zirconia, wax, PMMA, PEEK and composite resin. The material artwork additionally shows a cobalt-chromium sintering blank. Request specific written approval for each blank type and processing state before ordering, especially for materials not included in the main parameter list. Do not assume that the machine can process fully sintered metal or arbitrary dental materials.
For each proposed material, confirm blank dimensions, holder type, tool set, CAM strategy, postprocessor and subsequent processing steps. Disc and block capacity should be checked against the actual fixture supplied with the order.

Installation space, extraction and service access
The supplied drawing labels a width of 442mm and height of 625mm, with depth-related callouts of both 460mm and 680mm. Obtain the final dimensioned installation drawing before ordering a bench or arranging room access. Confirm enclosure clearance, door opening, extraction hoses, cable routing and service-panel access.
The chamber artwork describes an ionizer intended to assist debris management. Ask for the extraction interface, approved dust collector, filter specification, cleaning procedure and maintenance intervals. The illustration does not replace a material-specific dust-management assessment or the machine instructions.
Plan the digital production package
Request the supported file formats, nesting software, CAM license terms, postprocessor, computer requirements and training scope. Ask for sample machining using your intended material and design, with an agreed acceptance method and documented tool settings. Confirm what is included in the base machine price and what is quoted separately.

Buyer questions
Is this a dry or wet milling machine?
The supplied parameter sheet specifies dry machining. Confirm the approved material and cleaning workflow for the exact configuration.
Does the machine need a compressor?
The sales material describes an airless spindle. Ask for a complete utility schedule to confirm whether other machine or accessory functions need compressed air.
Is CAM software included?
The images show a computer-based workflow but do not define the license package. Confirm software, postprocessor, updates, computer and training in the quotation.
Can it mill every material shown in the images?
Material eligibility depends on the specific blank, processing state, fixture, tools and CAM strategy. Request written material approval and sample acceptance for the intended workflow.
